I missed the time to join the Twitter Space to listen to ‘How does Bloggers Club help you in your career?” I went back to listen to the recording.
I have been part of the Bloggers Club for a short time, but I had the opportunity to look around at the Bloggers Club topics from the past and review their comments and postings. The topics and the comments gave me a sense of welcome and understanding of software testing and how to use these tools in my day-to-day life as a software tester. For this topic, the Bloggers Club asked several questions from the event. This includes:

- What blogging resources have you found useful?
- What topics would you like to write about for a future Bloggers Club?

There are a few more things to add to how blogging can help.
- It helps you to build an online brand. You can use the blog to build authority in your industry.
- It can help you stand out professionally.
- It helps you to learn on a continuous basis by learning how to write, make use of social media, and use different blogging tools such as WordPress, analytics, and SEO.
- You have a chance to create your own unique content. This helps by bringing a unique perspective and expertise to a subject that you can share with others.
How has blogging helped your career?
When I first started blogging years ago, I was blogging because I wanted to share and be part of the bloggers’ group that I was in. Now fast forward, I find that blogging has:
- Helped me gain an understanding of the industry.
- Helped me become creative in my writing and bring a unique twist to it.
- Helped me to network with others and share my own unique information with others
What blogging resources have you found useful?
Some of the resources I have found useful are:
- Choosing a blog hosting platform such as WordPress
- Choosing a domain name
- Using Grammarly to spell and grammar check
- Using free stock photos such as Unsplash and Pixabay
- Using Google Trends
- Using Canva to design photos, banners, social media posts, and such
