I have decided to include a new section called “Monthly Update”. The Monthly Update is a way to talk about my experience and journey as a software tester, other events happening outside of being a software tester, resources to provide, and other things that I find interesting.
Community Work
I decided to join Libre Office, an open-source project, to work as a volunteer software tester. I wanted to do this so I could give back. I plan to write my monthly experiences in the journey of an open-source project with Libre Office. If you are interested, you can go to Libre Office and select from the menu, “Improve It,” and select “Join us – start here” to volunteer.
Book Read
I joined the Women Who Code Book Club. The book chosen was Clean Code by Robert C. Martin. Currently, we are on chapters 10 and 11.
Hacktoberfest
I signed up for Hacktoberfest. I did not finish it as I guess I lacked the energy to do so. But there is next year, so I am planning ahead to be ready.
